Select or create an identity

Click the contact icon on the left navigation

In the contact pane on the right, click the Add Contact button

Paste the copied identity into the dialog box that appears

Click the 'add' button in the dialog box

That's it! A confirmation dialog box will appear and all you have to do is wait for your contact to accept your request
